Following the set norms of reservation in another major recruitment campaign, Government of India, soon Indian Railways is expected to announce 2.3 lakh vacancies.

According to the reservation policy of the government, approximately 19,715, 9,857 and 35,485 vacancies will be reserved for SC, ST and OBC candidates respectively.

In addition, around 13,100 will be filled with economically weaker sections (EWS). This cycle will be completed by April-May, 2020.

After the completion of the first phase of new recruitment of 1,31,328 personnel, the second phase of recruitment of about 99,000 personnel against vacancies arising after retirement will be started. According to the government's reservation policy, approximately 15,000, 7,500, 27,000 and 10,000 posts will be reserved for SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates respectively.

Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC JE 2018-19 application window and click on register button.
Step 4: In first step, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your completed online application form of SSC JE 2018-19.Always verify your entire details before submitting the form. Candidates will be issued Registration ID for SSC JE 2018-19 exam.
Candidates are now required to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC JE 2018-19.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates must upload photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned by SSC.
Photograph - The photograph must be clicked in front of white colour or light coloured background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.
Signature - The signature should be in black or blue ink on white sheet. The scanned copy of signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.
Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to fill up the Part-II of the application form of SSC JE 2018-19.
Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates need to preview the entire application form of SSC JE 2018-19 once to look for any glitches in the form. Verify the entire data entered by you.
Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the entire online application form.
Candidates are advised to download and get print copies of submitted application form of SSC JE 2018-19.
Candidates can now proceed to submit the application fee for SSC JE 2018-19 either by online mode or offline mode of fee payment.A candidate must pay Rs. 100/- as SSC JE 2018-19 Online Application Fee. Candidates belonging to Reserved Category (SC/ST/PWD) are exempted from paying Online Application Fee for SSC JE 2018-19 Exam.The examination fee can be paid both online (net banking/debit card/credit card) and offline (e-challan).
