कोरोना: 14 अप्रैल के बाद भी लॉकडाउन रहेगा? यह है मोदी सरकार की योजना।

Crude Bombs Found at Bengaluru Where NIA Probes 2014 Burdhwan Blast Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday (7 July) recovered 2 bombs from the house of arrested terror suspect Habibur Rehman in Chikkabanavara, that is found on the outskirts of Bengaluru. This raid was in association into the probe of Burdwan blast that occurred in 2014.

Habibur Rahman is believed to be a member of the illegal Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen bangladesh (JMB) and was arrested for his alleged involvement within the Burdwan blasts of 2014.



Habibur Rehman was arrested by a team of NIA from kolkata on 25 june in Doddaballapura.

On 25 June, the NIA had recovered two crude bombs under a bridge near a stormwater drain in Karnataka’s Ramanagara district a day after Rehman was arrested.

As per NIA, Rehman had also travelled to Tamil Nadu where he is believed to have stayed while he was on the run after his alleged involvement in preparing a crude bomb that exploded while being assembled, killing two people and injuring many.

सूरत के तक्षशिला कॉम्प्लेक्स में शुक्रवार को भीषण आग लगने से अब तक 19 छात्रों की मौत हो गई है। हादसे का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट बताया जा रहा है। इस बिल्डिंग में कोचिंग सेंटर चलता है, जिसमें आग लगने के कारण बच्चे नीचे कूदने लगे। इस घटना का एक वीडियो भी वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें आग के डर से छात्र बिल्डिंग से कूदते दिखाई दे रहे हैं। तक्षशिला कॉम्प्लेक्स सूरत के सरथाना इलाके में स्थित है। जिस वक्त यह घटना हुई बिल्डिंग में 40 छात्र मौजूद थे।

फिलहाल आग पर काबू पाया जा चुका है। लेकिन बिल्डिंग से लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकालने का काम जारी है। इस घटना पर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने ट्वीट कर दुख जताया है। उन्होंने लिखा, सूरत में भीषण आग की घटना से बेहद दुखी हूं. मेरी संवेदनाएं मरने वालों के परिवारों के साथ हैं।

घायलों के जल्द स्वस्थ होने की कामना करता हूं। मैंने गुजरात सरकार को स्थानीय प्रशासन से प्रभावितों को सभी तरह की सहायता मुहैया कराने को कहा है। आग पर काबू पाने के लिए दमकल की 18 गाड़ियां लगाई गईं। गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री विजय रुपाणी ने इस घटना के जांच के आदेश दिए हैं। उन्होंने हादसे में मारे गए छात्रों के परिजनों को 4 लाख रुपये देने का ऐलान किया है। इससे पहले सूरत के पुलिस कमिश्नर सतीश कुमार मिश्रा ने इस घटना में 15 लोगों के मारे जाने की बात कही थी। उन्होंने कहा था कि मरने वालों की तादाद बढ़ सकती है।

पेट्रोल-डीजल के दाम चार दिनों में 1.27 रुपये तक गिरे , जानें आज के रेट ।

नई सरकार के लिए यह राहत भरी खबर होगी. इस महीने पेट्रोल 1.40 रुपया और डीजल 60 पैसे तक सस्ता हुआ है. भारत अपनी जरूरत की 85 फीसदी पेट्रोलियम आयात करता है.

नई दिल्ली: छठे चरण का मतदान जारी है. 23 मई को नतीजे आ जाएंगे, जिसके बाद तय हो जाएंगे कि किसकी सरकार बनने जा रही है. चुनावी मौसम में आगामी सरकार के लिए यह राहत भरी खबर है. पिछले चार दिनों से लगातार पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमत में कटौती हुई है. रविवार को पेट्रोल 42 पैसे तक और डीजल 17 पैसे तक सस्ता हुआ है. पिछले चार दिनों में पेट्रोल 1 रुपया 27 पैसे तक सस्ता हुआ है, जबकि डीजल 55 पैसे तक सस्ता हुआ है.

आज दिल्ली में एक लीटर पेट्रोल 71.73 रुपये और डीजल 66.11 रुपये है. मुंबई में पेट्रोल 77.34 रुपये और डीजल 69.27 रुपये प्रति लीटर है. कोलकाता में पेट्रोल 73.79 रुपये और डीजल 67.86 रुपये है, वहीं चेन्नई में पेट्रोल 74.46 रुपये और डीजल 69.88 रुपये प्रति लीटर है. नोएडा में पेट्रोल 71.27 रुपये तो गुरुग्राम में 71.78 रुपये, वहीं डीजल 65.23 रुपये और 65.31 रुपये प्रति लीटर है.

सुबह 6 बजे से प्रभावी हो जाती हैं नई दरें
घरेलू तेल कंपनियां प्रतिदिन पेट्रोल-डीजल की कीमतों की समीक्षा करती है और नई दरों सुबह 6 बजे से पेट्रोल पंपों पर प्रभावी हो जाती हैं. तेल कंपनियां वैश्विक बाजार में तेल की कीमतों के आधार पर घरेलू कीमतें तय करती हैं. इसके लिए 15 दिन की औसत कीमत को आधार बनाया जाता है. इसके अलावा रुपये और डॉलर के विनिमय दर से भी तेल की कीमत प्रभावित होती है.

The great big Canada-Philippines garbage dispute could be over — Canada will take its trash back to Vancouver

 

OTTAWA — Canada’s garbage is coming home from the Philippines.

A spokesman for Global Affairs Canada told the Canadian Press on Thursday Canada made a formal offer earlier this week to have more than six dozen containers of Canadian household trash returned to the Port of Vancouver. The containers arrived in a port near Manila in 2013 and 2014 improperly labelled as plastics for recycling, and have sat in limbo ever since while the two countries disagreed about how they should be disposed of.

The Philippines’ Bureau of Customs found that the containers contained only about one-third plastics that could be recycled. The rest was mostly household garbage and electronic waste, including used adult diapers and kitchen scraps.

The Canadian offer came around the same time as the Philippines ordered its Bureau of Customs to get the containers back on a ship bound for Canada no later than May 15.

“We’ve recently made an offer to quickly repatriate the waste back to Canada for disposal and we await a formal response from the Philippines government,” said spokesman Adam Austen.

The developments move the two countries closer to a solution to the diplomatic dispute that has seen Canada spend nearly six years trying to get the Philippines to deal with the trash there. The Filipino government pushed back, arguing the shipments were a violation of the Basel Convention, an international treaty forbidding developed nations to dump their waste on the developing world.

Last month, Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte threatened to declare war on Canada if it didn’t take back its trash and set this week as a deadline for an end to the impasse.

His spokesman later said the threat of war was just a figure of speech to underscore how upset Duterte is about the matter but the Philippines did suggest 70 years of bilateral relations with Canada were at risk because of the trash.

Duterte’s foreign secretary Teodoro Locsin is giving him a run for his money on his combativeness, though, saying on Twitter this week that the government will “nail” the Filipino company that imported the trash to begin with.

He said he was going to “reject the suggestion to ship them out in a container of garbage,” however, because “that’s too much pollution.”

On Wednesday, Locsin said the garbage would leave the Philippines no later than May 15, “no ifs or buts.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been pushed about the garbage on two visits to the Philippines, in 2015 and 2017. He said the first time that Canada had no legal way to force the Canadian company to deal with the trash, then in 2017 said it was “theoretically” possible for Canada to do something.

But it was another year before a working group was established between Canada and the Philippines to sort out the matter. The central disagreement was over who would pay for the shipments, with Canada arguing it would only take responsibility once the containers were back in Canada. Canada has argued the Filipino importer should cover the return shipping costs.

Austen did not say what the details of the Canadian offer were, including who will pay for the garbage’s trip back across the Pacific or how much it will cost. Once it’s on Canadian soil, though, Environment and Climate Change Canada will be responsible for ensuring the waste gets disposed of properly.

Arroyo says restoring PH fiscal stability her 'legacy' in public service

MANILA, Philippines – As she marked her 72 birthday on Friday, April 5, Speaker Gloria Macapagal trumpeted her achievements as a public servant, particularly her legacy of restoring the country's fiscal stability during her 9-year presidency.

The former president discussed what she believed would be her legacy in public service months away from the end of her third and final term as Pampanga 2nd District congresswoman. Arroyo did not vie for any post in the May elections and said she planned to be a provincial consultant after her stint in Congress. “I like to think that my legacy will center around restoring our country’s fiscal stability after a storm on financial crisis here and abroad," Arroyo said in a brief speech after attending Mass at the St Agustin Church in Lubao, Pampanga, for her birthday.

"The restoration of fiscal stability was the platform for my program that built more and better infrastructure, and that reduced our poverty from 39% when I assumed the presidency, to 26% when I left the presidency,” she added.

An economist, Arroyo focused on fiscal and economic reforms during her presidency from 2001 to 2010.

In an essay she wrote in 2012, Arroyo said the Philippines had a 7.9% growth rate when she turned over the presidency to her successor Benigno Aquino III in 2010.

“That growth rate capped 38 quarters of uninterrupted economic growth despite escalating global oil and food prices, two world recessions, Central and West Asian wars, mega-storms and virulent global epidemics. Our country had just weathered with flying colors the worst planet-wide economic downturn since the Great Depression of 1930. As two-thirds of the world’s economies contracted, we were one of the few that managed positive growth,” Arroyo had written in her essay.

During her watch, the Philippines received high marks from international credit rating agencies.

Arroyo's economic reforms and achievements, however, had been overshadowed by multiple corruption allegations that led to cases filed in court after her presidency.

She was under hospital arrest for nearly 4 years over the alleged misuse of P366 million in Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office funds from 2008 to 2010, but she walked free in July 2016 after the Supreme Court acquitted her and her co-accused, former PCSO board member Benjamin Aguas.

Arroyo also faced graft cases involved in the botched $329-million National Broadband Network-ZTE deal in 2007, but these were junked in 2016.

Last year, the Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 112 cleared Arroyo of electoral sabotage, a case that stemmed from the alleged rigging of the 2007 senatorial elections.

Arroyo already said she would retire as an elected official after May 2019 and will instead serve as a consultant for the Pampanga provincial government. Governor Lilia Pineda is a close ally and friend of Arroyo.

Pineda and her son, Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, are running mates in May, this time vying for vice governor and governor, respectively.

2018-19 का इनकम टैक्स और जीएसटी रिटर्न भरने की लास्ट डेट है 31 मार्च है।

आयकर तथा जीएसटी दोनों कर कार्यालय शनिवार और रविवार को खुले रहेंगे। विभाग राजस्व संग्रह का लक्ष्य हासिल करने में जुटी है जिसके तहत कार्यालय खुला रखने को कहा गया है।

सीबीडीटी ने आगे कहा 'आकलन वर्ष 2018-19 के लिये विलम्बित/ संशोधित कर रिटर्न भरने की अंतिम तारीख 31 मार्च 2019 है। वित्त वर्ष 2018-19, 31 मार्च को समाप्त हो रहा है। 30 और 31 मार्च को शनिवार और रविवार के अवकाश को देखते हुए आयकर कार्यालय पूरे देश में दोनों दिन खुले रहेंगे। दोनों दिन कामकाज कार्यालय के अन्य दिनों की तरह निर्धारित समय के अनुसार होंगे।'

इसके साथ ही रिजर्व बैंक ने भी अपने सभी बैंकों से शाखाएं 31 मार्च को खुली रखने को कहा है। ताकि 2018-19 के लिये सभी सरकारी लेन-देन का कार्य पूरा हो सके। आरटीजीएस तथा एनईएफटी समेत सभी इलेक्ट्रानिक लेन-देन 30 मार्च और 31 मार्च को होंगे।
